Let’s Encrypt: A Certificate Authority to Encrypt the Entire Web


The omg-awesomely-cool guys and gals at Mozilla, Cisco, Akamai, IdenTrust and others have put their heads together, dipped into their pockets and brought “Let’s encrypt” to the internetz.

“Let’s encrypt” is a CA (certificate authority) which grants *FREE* certificates for any website. Get ready to miss those warnings triggered by self-signed certificates.
