Winter Code Camps by iQuest

Winter Code Camps

Each year iQuest supports IT communities in Romania. At the beginning of this year we are proud to announce that we are helping Codecamp and ITSpark to organize two different winter code camps in Brasov and Sibiu.

These are free events, dedicated to all the developers and IT Pro’s in Brasov and Sibiu.

There will be 4 Microsoft MVP’s that will be talking about different subjects such as HTML 5 applications, code quality, private and public cloud, System Center 2012 R2 and virtualization using Microsoft Cloud and VMware Cloud.

You can find the full agenda and registration forms in the following links:

More information about the sessions can be found below:

Building web applications with HTML 5 and related technologies – Mihai Tătăran

In today’s world, clients and users are becoming more and more demanding when it comes to the applications they use. Whether we are talking about performance, fluid interface design, or availability on different screen sizes and devices, web applications need all these and even more. During this session we will explore how we can enrich the web user’s experience with technologies like HTML5, web sockets (and Microsoft’s SignalR), and JavaScript libraries.

Managing code quality with SonarQube – Radu Vunvulea

In this session we will discover different metrics that can be used when we want to measure the code quality of a project. We will use SonarQube in order to calculate and interpret these metrics.

Comparing Microsoft Cloud with VMware Cloud – Tudor Damian

The session plans to review the key capabilities of the latest release of Hyper-V and see how they match with the latest release of VMware vSphere across four key areas: scalability and performance, security and multi-tenant environments.

Managing Private and Public Cloud Services with System Center 2012 R2 – Adrian Stoian

This session will focus on how we can use the System Center 2012 R2 Virtual Machine Manager and App Controller to manage private and public cloud infrastructures.

So feel free to register and we’re looking forward to meeting you there!
